(not sure if this is the right forum, and if it isn't just let me know where it should go)

Who here gets Antenna TV!! I just discovered we have it hear in NYC on WPIX digitial 11.4 Sadly I missed that its been here for a while. But....I love it...so many great old shows like Bachelor Father, Leave it To Beaver, Dennis The Menace, Father Knows Best, Burns and Allen, Gidget, The Monkees....and the list goes on...I've been having a blast.

it has, Sol? Why? I agree, ANTENNA TVs GREAT! So many shows that I haven't seen in YEARS! I just wish that most of them were on at more convient hours. I.E., Jack Benny and Burns & Allen at 2 and 3 am. Oh well.

One thing I always found unusual about Antenna TV, was that when I had it, I used to get TV signals from other parts of the county. Besides the channels you'd expect from the New York Tri-State area, my family also go WTNH-Ch. 8 in New Haven, and occasionally some other stations in Connecticut. But on my TV, I'd frequently get stations from Providence, Rhode Island, Atlantic City, Vineland, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Dover, Delaware, Ocean City, Maryland, Baltimore, Maryland, and even Boston and Washington, DC!

Hey, at least you have it. I'm sure they will change their programming from time to time.

I love Antenna TV. It's easily my favorite network on tv. The only issue I have is that my affiliate (WPIX) runs a re-air of their 10PM newscast at 2am, so no Burns & Allen. Other than that, I have no issues. It's nice to see a channel with no permanent logo on the screen, popups or other distracting things. Plus, they show the credits w/o credit crunches or voiceovers. TV Land who? Now all I need is ME-TV.

(Maybe)..... but its gonna take a long long LONG time. And some shows I thought I would never see again...like Bachelor Father and Here Come The Brides. I was gonna buy a DVD set for Here Come The Brides and now I don't hve to.

Right now I'm like a kid in a candy store. Taping (DVD-ing) like a fiend. So many great shows that you can watch on a portable DVD player one day.

Also, I think they will rotate shows eventually,,,but one thing I do hope....that it doesn't get all crappy-assed the way Nick At Night did. But considering I can get it with just a digitial converter box (don't have cable)....well...right now I'm in heaven.
