Harry Belafonte sleeps through TV interview - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

It appears that Harry Belafonte isn't much of a morning person.

The 84-year-old calypso singer was scheduled to interview via satellite with the KBAK morning show in Bakersfield, CA last Friday (Oct. 14). However when the morning anchor cut to Belafonte, he was busy catching some z's.

"Hey, good morning Harry!" says Layla Santiago to a napping Belafonte. She continues, "Wake up, wake up! This is your wake-up call! Okay, I'll tell you what, he's meditating. He's taking a little nap."

They then cut away, resigned to the fact that he wasn't about to rise and shine.

Lol that is to funny. This reminds me of the time Ozzy was supposed to do an interview on Regis and Cathy lee and didn't make it he was still at home in bed and the really funny thing was that Sharon was a guest host on the show that day and she called Ozzy to see where he was and she found out he was still in bed.
