Carrie Preston & Timothy Busfield to Guest on 'Law & Order: SVU'
Carrie Preston is making the most of her True Blood hiatus.
The actress, who’s set to reprise her role as flighty attorney Elsbeth Tascioni on The Good Wife later this fall, will also guest star in an episode of Law & Order: SVU, TVLine has learned exclusively. Preston will play the aunt of a rape victim in a November episode titled “Educated Guess.” In other SVU casting news, actor-director Timothy Busfield (Thirtysomething, The West Wing) will play a widower whose fiancé has mysteriously disappeared in the ep “Russian Brides,” also slated to air in November.
