They must have a suspect in mind if they no exsactly were to be looking for the gun or guns. |

This is a pretty famous murder, but it wouldn't have been on Unsolved Mysteries since it happened in 2008, long after they went off the air. It would definitely be a good case to profile on the new UM, however, if they ever decided to produce new segments.

I think the case of those two young girls from weleetka, oklahoma may have been actually been hampered by the release of the composite drawings.
One was a black and white sketch that really made the suspect look elderly and white haired. They eventually colorized it and the suspect looked closer to the age they think he may have been. On the unsolved.com site, they are saying they are accepting new submissions: Now accepting new story submissions at UMnewstories@gmail.com |

What a senseless crime. I really hope they find the POS who would do that to two innocent girls.

They arrested a suspect, Kevin Joe Sweat age 25. Below are a photo of Sweat provided by authorities to the media, a colorized sketch of the original suspect, and photos of Sweat that he posted to the internet.
He was caught because he killed his fiance this summer. He also had a bunch of photos of himself with guns and bullets (and other disturbing images) on facebook and deviantart. He claims he shot two "monsters" not two little girls. He's either lying, setting up an insanity defense, or was using drugs. IMO, it was a motiveless thrill killing. He also recently got his asswhooped in jail by his cellmate. If he's guilty of these crimes, I hope they don't put him in protective custody. His victims are all defenseless women and female children and the murders are particularly heinous. He slit his fiance's throat and set her body on fire. The little girls, Taylor and Skyla, were shot multiple times with two different guns. He doesn't look ANYTHING like the composite. He's a light skinned, light haired, light eyed white guy and was about age 22 when he committed these murders. The color composite looks like a native american at least 45 years old. The b/w sketch looks almost like an elderly man, imo. I'd like to know who gave the description to the sketch artist, who they saw and why they thought he was involved, since there were no witnesses to the murders. http://www.koco.com/r/29963258/detail.html http://www.newson6.com/story/1622827...leetka-murders ![]() ![]() ![]()
