I'd have to rank as best 0f the final season, the episodes "Uhny Uftz","Bad Reception in Albany","The Ugliest Dog in the World","Odd But True","The Great Petrie Fortune","Obnoxious,Offensive,Egomaniac,Etc"(the scene before the last commercial was great, especially when Mel said calmly "Hold it.He's not going to fire anyone"and then explained why"Remember what he (Alan)said when we thought he was asleep?" Rob:"Yeah.Kiss me,Lillian"Mel:"Kiss me Lililan. His wife's name is Margaret".Sally:"(Shocked)"Mel!You wouldn't blackmail your own brother-in-law!"Mel,sitting at desk looking to the side-thinking,"Oh,wouldn't I?","The Bottom of Mel Cooley's Heart"(as I said
before,.Alan Brady was at his MEANEST.),"Love Thy Other Neighbor","The Curse of the Petrie People","The Gunslinger",and last show of the series "The Last Chapter"The rest were okay, with the worst being,as I've said before,"You Ought to Be In Pictrures".Anyway, back to the question:What are your favorites from last season? |

I liked "The Man From My Uncle". That's the episode in which Godfrey Cambridge plays a G-Man setting up a surveillance point in Richie's room to observe a neighbor's house.
I thought Rob was hilarious in that show trying to "help" Cambridge's character. Rob tries to make up his own secret agent lingo, referring to binoculars as "the bin-nocks" and "the binos" (rhymes with "rhinos"). Cambridge was like "what are you talking about?" |
