I have been watching Match Game on GSN for 2 years and why are they airing only episodes from '74 and '75? There are hundreds of later episodes so why are they only airing those 2 years?

Not only is it the money but I think that maybe they dont have the rights to the other episodes. Maybe the episodes were erased? Although it wouldnt shock me if they are just not going to show it because it wasnt made AFTER 2005!!

The last one was 1999, with Vicki Lawrence and Nell Carter.

I hope they can revive this show as well as "What's My Line".

GSN did run the later episodes at one time and I do have the Best of Match Game(you can buy it on amazon.com) on dvd so I know that they still exist!
GSN also ran What's My Line and To Tell the Truth (the 60's/70's versions) earlier in this decade. I wish that they would air them and more other VINTAGE game shows. I hate the new things they are airing! Like tvland they are going in the direction of new shows.
I would rather watch the old shows.
