I just came across a show called Delta, starring Delta Burke on YouTube. There was only one episode posted, which I really liked. I would love to see more of this show. Does anyone know where I can watch it? Is it on DVD?

I don't know if it's on DVD but Delta only aired one season for a total of 17 episodes from 1992-1993.

I watched it when it was first on. Delta had blonde hair and working as a waitress hoping to become a country singer. It was followed by Room for Two with Linda Lavin and Patricia Heaton and Homefront, a soap set in the 1940's.

I think DELTA goes down in history as one of the biggest flops in TV history. It was her first sitcom after leaving "Designing Women" and was savaged by critics.
I personally thought it was a pretty funny series, but I think at the time, critics and viewers simply weren't ready for Delta in a role that wasn't Suzanne Sugarbaker, the sassy character that made her famous and earned her two Emmy nominations. |
