Jerry said in an interview that they would often take suggestions from he and Tony about lines or scenes that bothered them. The funniest one, was Jerry read a script from an episode where Tony and he were supposed to be getting dressed to go out, and the boys were originally supposed to be seen in their underwear!

Jerry looked at the script and saw that scene and went "AWWWWWW!!!! I can't have millions of people watching me in my underwear!!!" LOL! So, he begged the producers or director to change it. They had the boys putting on suits. (I think the episode just might be Beaver's First Date, but I am not sure.)

Jerry got so upset, and they were like, "It's ok Jerry You and Tony can be putting on suits instead."

I could imagine everyone empathizing with Jerry over this. However, I think Barbra might have said, "Jerry honey, it's ok, I'm sure you'll look real cute in your underwear!" The poor kid probably made that classic mouth open surprised look on his face like Macauley Culkin in Home Alone if she said that!!!!! It just sounds like something June would say!!!! LOL!

Remember the Baby Pictures Episode where June sends that "nude" baby picture of Beaver to Ms. Landers for the contest and he bugs her not to open it until he has left the building!? LOL! In real life, Jerry was very self-conscious about that stuff, so his anxiety was NOT acting!!!!

That must be a thought with all actors. Doing a scene where you feel a bit embarrassed knowing the scene will be shown to millions.
