"The Rosie Show" to Welcome Russell Brand as First Guest
Sept 29, 2011 by Kate Stanhope Russell Brand will be the first guest on Rosie O'Donnell's upcoming OWN talk show, "The Rosie Show", it was announced Thursday. When speaking with television critics about her new show in August, O'Donnell listed the comedian, actor, author and musician among possible guests and emphasized her desire to speak with stars who she thinks have something to say. O'Donnell also said she would like to have singer Adele on her show. Brand, 36, will next be seen in the film adaptation of Broadway's Rock of Ages. Brand is a "safe" guest for those who worry Rosie might be controversial again, but personally, I find him really annoying and not remotely funny.
