It's happening: Courtney Love is writing her memoir. According to the AP (who awkwardly refers to her marriage to Kurt Cobain as "brief"—over two years!), the book will be out next Fall via HarperCollins.

The memoir will cover all the bold-printed events in her life: her relationship with Cobain, her drug problems, her Hollywood career, and her relationships with Ed Norton and Billy Corgan (which certainly they'll look forward to reading). No word on if she'll go too deep into her tumultuous relationship with her daughter, Frances Bean.

Love will have some help from Anthony Bozza, who is co-writing. And if you have ever followed Ms. Love on Twitter, you know a co-writer is necessary to harness in her stream of stream of consciousness style.

As much as I'm a Kurt Cobain fan, I can not stand Courtney Love. If it wasn't for Kurt Cobain, no one would give her the time of day.

I am a big fan of Kurt Cobain's RIP. But Courtney Love I can do without-just never have been a fan of her music or acting-and doubt I will read her book.
