Yes. Three people who directed episodes of "The Dick Van Dyke Show" also directed episodes of "The New Dick Van Dyke Show". They are Jerry Paris, John Rich, and Allan Rafkin. One writer from "The Dick Van Dyke Show" also directed episodes of "The New Dick Van Dyke Show" and that is Bill Persky.

Of the guest stars who appeared on "The Dick van Dyke Show",appear on "The New Dick van Dyke Show"?The only one I know,is the late Reta Shaw.And how about Ann Morgan Guilbert and the late Richard Deacon,whoi were semi-regulars on "The Dick Van Dyke Show"?Did THEY make guest apearances on "The New Dick Van Dyke Show"?

I think Richard Dawson who guest starred on "THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW" once; was on it a couple times.
