What do you think. Does syndication of still running show like Frasier and Friends help or hurt a show and its popularity and ratings.
I think it hurts them. More people will watch less cause its on more. But there are other views to this as well, What do you think? |

It helps more than it hurts. It gets people to watch shows more by chance and with friends. While wathing reruns, people get into the show and understand it. Then they watch the new episodes and get into the show. I really think it helps the shows a great deal.

It helps running sitcoms, but it helps even more for old sitcoms. More people get to see it. They might be busy and work at night so they can't catch primetime shows.

Syndication ultimately is always a good thing for a show that lasts long enough to be syndicated. When casts, producers, or networks decide to end a show, syndication is what keeps the show alive for fans. So it's always a good thing.

I think it helps! There are a lot of shows that I never bothered to watch until they went into syndication.
