Default annoying episode

Anyone else find this episode aggravating - when Rose's daughter Kiersten comes to go over the estate left by Charlei, she is upset because there is not as much there as she (Kiersten) had expected.

No adult child should get upset about their wodowed parent spending the money left by their spouse. Unless Charlie's will said "Kiersten get x amount of dollars," she shuold have nothing to say. If my mom wanted to spend all he money my father left and enjoy life, I'd say go for it. I've earned my own money.

I would have loved to see Blance or Dorothy point that out!

What do you all think?

The money was probably left to Rose with the expectation that she would divide it amoungst the family and make sure no one went without.

Kristen was upset that her father worked hard his whole life for that money, only to have Rose blow through it in a couple years (although that turned out not to be true).

I don't think it had so much to do with the money itself as it did the lack of trust and irresponsibility on Rose's behalf.

I agree that I think that when Rose's daughter Kristen had said of how ashamed of her she was I thought that was stepping over the line. No matter of how angry she may have been with her mother, she had no right to say that to her. Even if Charlie had left enough in his estate, it is not like Rose purposely set out to spend his money and like you said, Dorothy and Blanche should have pointed this out to her...or if not them at least Sophia should have offered her words of wisdom to the young woman like she normally does on the show.
