I thought this would be a nice feel good type thread. Have any of you ever experienced any miracles in your life?? I love miracles, and enjoy having them happen to me. I will share mine later, but there's been alot, so I'm going to wait until I'm up for writing a long post. Please share! Thanks!

This morning I couldn't find my keys. I searched my whole apartment and didn't find them. I prayed and asked God for his help and 15 seconds later I found them! I guess miracles come in all sizes and this one was relatively small but I still grateful to God for it!!

That's awesome Marv, so cool. It's interesting, because one thing Iv'e learned recentely is that oftentimes the things that one would consider big miracles, oftentimes have the smallest impact, while the so called small things, often have the greater impact, and affect way more lives than many of the so called big things. The same way the so called small deeds that we do, usually eclipse the so called big deeds that we do. I love that. Thanks for sharing Marv, I love this kind of stuff! Hope you have many more miracles today!

The only miracle that I have ever asked for is that my family is with me and that we are all healthy and happy.

I just had a wonderful miracle happen while I was working. I was raking leaves out in the front of our house. All of a sudden as I was almost done, an amazing amount of leaves fell down. In less than a second I thanked God, because I knew what it meant. If you look in my signature at the bottom, you'll see a link that says Bring The Rain. I listen to this song daily, sometimes three or four times beacause everything in the song descrbes everytrhing that Iv'e been going through. Sharing this song with others has also brought miracles into their lives. When all these leaves came down, I knew God was bringing The Rain. I was so excited that I took a break to tell my mom, and she was smiling from ear to ear. It's funny, because at that moment an unnatural amount of leaves fell, and after that, I didn't see a single leaf fall, even when the wind blew. Here are the lyrics to the song. If you want to hear it, please click on the link below. I feel like everybody has a song that was written for them. It was written for many others, and for me too.
Bring The Rain lyrics I can count a million times People asking me how I Can praise You with all that I've gone through The question just amazes me Can circumstances possibly Change who I forever am in You Maybe since my life was changed Long before these rainy days It's never really ever crossed my mind To turn my back on you, oh Lord My only shelter from the storm But instead I draw closer through these times So I pray Bring me joy, bring me peace Bring the chance to be free [ From : http://www.elyrics.net/read/m/mercym...in-lyrics.html ] Bring me anything that brings You glory And I know there'll be days When this life brings me pain But if that's what it takes to praise You Jesus, bring the rain I am Yours regardless of The clouds that may loom above Because You are much greater than my pain You who made a way for me By suffering Your destiny So tell me what's a little rain So I pray Holy, holy, holy Is the Lord God Almighty |

i had all but forgotten about this thread, but something today made me remember it. Several years ago when i use to walk up to Shell, on my way there, and/or back, i use to always pass this ackward girl, had to be seven or eight years old.
Always liked her for some reason, i don't know, but never really acknowledged her, but one day when i was walking home, i looked at her, and had this overwhelming feeling of saddness, and compassion in my heart. i saw kids playing across the street, and as always, she was all alone, just dying for somebody to ask her to play. i myself never fit in as a kid, and only had a small handful of true friends, which is probably why i felt such a deep connection. i remember looking at her, and i just couldn't help myself, i gave her a big smile. Her reaction melted my heart, she looked so surprised, and gave me back the most beautiful, and sincere smile that i had ever received in my life. Shortly thereafter, this girl all but disappeared, and i pretty much forgot about her, until recentely. About a month ago this beautiful girl, had to be 14 or 15 walked past my house as i was raking leaves. For some reason i just stopped, and looked at her, and couldn't take my eyes away from her, when suddenly, she gave me that most beautiful smile. WOW, almost brings tears to my eyes. i knew instantely that it was her. iv'e seen her once or twice since, and each time we exchanged big ole smiles. Wow, if that isn't what life is all about, then i don't know what is.

I truly believe that God led me and my brother (who has my condition also) to this great apt. that we live in now. I remember I was falling a lot in our old apt., and my condition was starting to deterorate, but we couldn't afford another place. I remember one night I was lying in bed, and I started asking God to let us be able to afford to move to a bigger place, and the next day I got a phone call saying I had come into a HUUUGE amt. of money. So, we were suddenly able to afford a bigger place, with NO STEPS!!!!
And not only that, I found a place I can go to for P.T. that's close enough to ride to! |

Feeling pretty blessed about my work situation. It's a temporary deal - my home store transferred me to another store (in the same company) that is 4 hours away in the same state. It's a pretty TL;DR story as to why I'm there in the first place... But suffice it to say, there are great people there.
They're just making the best of the current economic situation up there (no loss of jobs - in fact, the town CAN'T FIND ANYONE to fill jobs fast enough! Not to mention, there are ABSOLUTELY ZERO vacancies to be found in the whole town... There is demand for 5,000 households, for instance, but right now they're only able to build 2,000 households so there are literally people sleeping in campers/RVs or people who are homeless due to the literal overnight increase in rent living in their cars in any parking lot that has empty spots). It's a pretty ugly/hairy situation. But we do what we can do!

A wonderful miracle just came to me not two minutes ago, and i believe that Jesus wants me to share it. My last birthday was my best ever, BYFAR. Better than every other one combined. On that day, God talked to me, and told me that my new life started today. That was over 2 months ago, and God just revealed something to me that nearly knocked me off my feet. Well actually, i was laying doWn, so not figuratively. lol Anyway, Jesus' public ministry began at age 30, and of course ended two years later when HE was crucified. The significance of this with me, This revelation of my new life didn't just happen on my birthday, but on my 30th birthday.

I have a couple miracles two of them are similar
One was when I was coming home from college and I was almost home I lived at home with my folks at the time and they lived on a farm and I was just about home and this was in the winter so there was some snow on the ground and I was a little tired so I closed my eyes for a split second and the next thing I remember was my car was going off the road and it flipped over in a snow bank. I was fine thanks to the snow bank but there was a hug dent on the roof of my car. But I thank God for the snow bank being there. Another mircale I had was also another car accident. I was still living with my folks this was just after I graduated college before I moved out. I was going to work and I have to be at work by 5 in the morning so it was dark out. I was driving and there is a hill I have to go over as I drive by our neighbors house and as I just got over a hill I hit a horse. The neighbors have a black horse and somehow it got out of the fence that day and I hit the horse and horse hit the windshild on the drivers side of my car and flips over the top of the car and into the ditch and I jerk the car in shock and go into the ditch but my car didn't flip. The mircale of that was that I didn't get hurt I just got horse pooped on since I hit the back end of the horse, so I was very thankful the horse didn't come through the windshild when it hit it. Another mircale happend when I was 6 years old. We were on a vacation in Dever CO. We were going to our hotel room and we decided to take the stairs instead of the elevator. So as we were going up the stairs to our floor my brother and I decided to race and he went so fast I didn't see him open the door to our floor so I kept going up the stairs and all of a sudden I was like where is my brother so I turned around to look for my folks and I didn't see them. The scary thing was there were people coming down the stairs like crazy so I hid in a corner praying no one would grab me. I prayed that someone would find me cause I had no clue which level I was at so I didn't know which door to open and with all those people coming down the stairs I was scared to get up and have someone grab me and kidnap me so I just sat in that corner praying someone would find me and 5 seconds later a hotel worker came and ask me if I was lost and I said yes and they took me to our hotel room. My mom ran over and held me for the next 10 minutes. I don't think I have ever been so scared in my life I was just thankful nobody grabbed me and kidnapped me that was the biggest worry I had while I was sitting in that stairway. |

I finally found a guy that I can love who I'm pretty sure loves me too. That's a miracle. Not an uncommon one, but one I certainly waited long enough for
