In 1964, The Man From U.N.C.L.E. premiered on NBC and was very successful in it's first couple of seasons. But after four seasons, the show's ratings faded and NBC pulled the plug on the show in January of 1968. It's replacement: Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In. The variety series, hosted by Dan Rowan and Dick Martin, was the most popular series of the late 1960s.
Which was better? |
