Music Rihanna Reveals New Album 'Talk That Talk' Track Listing

Rihanna Announces Fall Release For Her New Album
9/16/2011
by Patrick Kevin Day

Rihanna has started tweeting details about her upcoming sixth album, including a confirmation of when it will be released.

In response to one fan's tweeted question about when the album is due, she responded, "THIS FALL!!!!"

The singer also hinted that the untitled project would include a lot of the dubstep influences heard on her 2009 release, 'Rated R'.

She wrote, "you KNOW how I been lovin Dubstep since Rated R."

Rihanna's single, 'Cheers (Drink to That'), from her previous album, is currently No. 10 on Billboard's Hot 100 Chart.

The new album is expected to include cuts produced by the studio team known as Jugganauts (Verse Simmonds and Sak Pase), who produced Rihanna's hit single 'Man Down'.

Rihanna Reveals Sixth Album's Lead Single
Posted on Sep 20th 2011
by Kenneth Partridge

As reported by The BoomBox, if the title of her next single is any indication, Rihanna's upcoming sixth album will be an upbeat, celebratory affair.

On Oct. 11, All Access reports, the Barbadian-born pop superstar drops 'We Found Love,' the lead single from her yet-untitled follow-up to last year's 'Loud.' The track was produced by Calvin Harris, the Scottish electro-pop whiz known for his work with Kylie Minogue and Dizzee Rascal, among others.

Little is known about RiRi's forthcoming record, and in a recent Twitter post, she cryptically described the theme as "GangstaR." While each of Rihanna's previous five albums have reached the top 10, her highest-charting LP, 2007's 'Good Girl Gone Bad,' peaked at No. 2.

Now that she's 'Found Love,' will those good feelings carry her to the top slot? Time will tell.

Rihanna Reveals 'Talk That Talk' Album Cover Art
Posted on Oct 11th 2011
by Cameron Matthews

Just hours after being crowned Esquire's 'Sexiest Woman Alive' everyone's favorite Bajan songstress Rihanna has released the official cover art for her upcoming record 'Talk That Talk.'

As shown on her Facebook page, the cover features the sultry singer in an animal print get-up, complete with red lipstick and a wily tongue. On her arm is tattooed the album's title, while a stylish "R" made of newspaper clippings sits on the cover's upper left corner.

This is definitely a sexy addition to RiRi's previous album covers.

On Oct. 4, the R&B superstar took to the internet to test fans' knowledge of her career. Rihanna prompted her "Navy" of followers to "unlock missions" in order find out the name of her sixth LP.

She has also been re-tweeting many RiRi-ites' comments about 'Talk That Talk,' which quickly made the album a trending topic worldwide.

Rihanna Unveils 'Talk That Talk' Album Tracklist
Posted on Nov 7th 2011
by Georgette Cline

Rihanna's sixth studio album is just three weeks from making its debut and before the effort drops, the Bajan songstress is debuting the tracklisting for 'Talk That Talk.'

Premiering the tracklist via Facebook, the Def Jam signee showcased 15 songs set to appear on the forthcoming LP through a photo of herself after writing each title on a large piece of paper and posing before it with her tongue sticking out playfully.

Eleven of the songs are completed and ready to mix while four titles are still in the process of being cut: 'Fool in Love,' 'Where Have You Been,' 'Do Ya Thang' and 'Birthday Cake.'

One of the works on 'Talk That Talk,' 'Saxon,' was reportedly written by Nicki Minaj for Rihanna. No featured guests are listed on the tracklisting but the 23-year-old took to Twitter to reveal that one special guest will join her on the LP.

"#TTT one feature on the album! And we got the best!!!!!" she wrote.

Though it's written in the photograph as 'Saxon,' the song is actually entitled 'Red Lipstick,' according to the singer. She answered a fans question when asked about the track with, "Saxon is the name of the beat itself!!! We had it for yrs, finally wrote sum cray to it, and its entitled RedLipstick #TTT," she explained.

The-Dream collaborates with Rihanna on the effort, but as a songwriter on four songs.

Love the new CD!! I hope she releases "Where Have You Been" as the new single. It will without a doubt be her 14th #1 single.
