In answer to my own question, I like it, because it makes me laugh. The situations that they get into are hilarious. Like when Sandra and Elvin come back from their honeymoon, and decide that they want to quit school to work in a wilderness store. Those kinds of things make it a classic. It's something nobody expected.

It's because Bill Cosby can be funny without being nasty. People's nature is not to be nasty, so people's subconciously love this show. Oh yeah, and it's also Hillarious! I'm not a Psychaiatrist(sp?)(I'm only 14) or anything, that's just what I think!

It's just a feel good show. They rarely had any "Very Special episodes", or any major drama (Exclude Denise) on the show. I guess it's special because I was very young when this show was in it's prime. The first shows I can remember seeing were the ones in the 3rd season. Which also happens to be the season with the biggest ratings. I'm just wondering why TCS had such a dramatic drop in ratings from the 3rd to 4th season. Though it was still #1 in the 4th season, the share went from like 32.1 to 25.1. I guess because the 4th season is really boring. Well at least to me it is. Anybody else think Adam Sandler looked like a dork when he was on TCS????

I loved it because the Cosby Show is such good, wholesome family TV, with loving parents and, of course, very funny moments.

Bill Cosby is my favorite all-time comedian; that helps, too. If I was one tenth as funny as him in my writing, I'd be happy. Most people say i have a good sense of humor, but nobody compares to him.

It is very funny, easy to relate to, has a warm family atmosphere, and Denise Huxtable. What more could you want?

Well I grew up on this show and every Thursday we would watch this as a family and I still do enjoy it. It wasn't laugh out loud funny but still pretty good.
