"Megan Is Missing"
Has anyone seen this film? it is based on several accounts of minors being kidnapped and attacked by internet predators. Marc Klass's daughter Polly Klass was murdered by a predator in 1993. he endorses the film. he is head of Klasskids a foundation for keeping kids safe and educating them.
It's about two teenaged girls named Amy and Megan. Megan goes missing after meeting a friend off the internet and her best friend tries to find her. the movie is low budget and filmed by way of Webcams, cellphones, and surveillance cameras. it may sound corny in theory but I felt the film was pretty good. it was very disturbing. I wish more children and adults alike were more educated on internet predators. anyway I thought you UM fans might be interested in this flick.

Just saw this last night. Pretty flawed overall, I thought, but when it was scary and disturbing, it was REALLY scary and the disturbing
!I actually thought about all the missing young girls from UM while watching this. I know we all want to find out what happened to all of them, but sometimes I worry that it might be too terrifying to learn the truth. I'd hate to think that any of those missing people suffered a fate as horrible as the girls in this film. |

Oh yeah... I'm not saying it was a masterpiece. some of the acting sucked big time. and the found footage angle was a bit distracting at times. but I can understand why it was made. and it ultimately left me thinking. so in that respect it accomplished it's goal. I agree I always wonder what happens to all these people from UM? sometimes it's better not to know. :/
