MeTV skipping Season Six?? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

According to my guide and their website MeTV is starting back with Season One tonight. I wonder why they are not airing any episodes from Season Six? I admit it was a weaker season with Bob missing four or five shows but there were still some that were very funny. I loved the one where Howard rushes in and helps Bob and Emily hold up the wall, not realizing they are being robbed at gun point.

In all honesty its not as good as the first five but like I mentioned there are some really good episodes from season six. Bob Newhart missed four or five episodes as it was in his contract that he did not have to do an entire season. I'm really confused as to why they would not be airing it. Surely this season is included in the syndication package unless it is some odd ball deal like My Three Sons used to be where it was split into two syndication packages.

I heard of skipping holiday episodes but a WHOLE SEASON??

I hear ya, but Me-TV has some of the best classic sitcoms in tv HISTORY!
