I miss the days when there was good wholesome family programing on TV like LHOTP. My family used to watch Little House together every week. One of the few show that brought us together like that.

I was in school reading Little House In The Big Woods for my reading assignment and I fell in love with the story and once I had finished reading it my teacher told me that there was a TV show based on the book series. And so when my mother and I were watching TV Little House On The Prairie was gonna be on and she showed it to me and as we watched the show she encouraged me to read more of the books to fully understand the show a lot more. And so for Christmas I got the entire Little House book set and I loved it even more. I have read Little House In The Big Woods twice and I never knew that a popular book series would spin-off a TV show. We need more shows like Little House On The Prairie because it is a important show for anyone who has read the Little House book series to learn more about Laura Ingalls Wilder's life
