My name is mentioned in an episode! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

The episode "Where Every Bloke Knows Your Name" was on last night and my name is mentioned.
Frasier and Daphne are in the kitchen talking about Martin's poker game and Daphne tells Frasier that one of the debates they have is about who they would rather be stuck on a desert island with Angie Dickinson or Ursula Andress. I was really shocked to hear it, and I have seen that episode before and don't remember it.
As a matter of fact I was named after Ursula Andress. My mom loved the name Andress after watching the James Bond movie Dr. No and decided to name me that. I actually like the name myself, but still don't know what it means to this day since it's considered a last name.
It is often mispronounced and can be quite annoying but I love it anyway because it's so unique.

Just thought I would share.

That's cool. And I've always wondered where you got your name from. The Ursala Andress connection never occurred to me.

Okay... TOTALLY jealous now!

Actually I think my name is mentioned at least once but it's pronounced wrong.

If anyone here has ever watched the original Beverly Hills 90120 with Gabrielle Carteris as Andrea, my name is pronounced the way hers is on the show. It always felt weird watching it and hearing my name pronounced correctly for once!

But seriously Andress, I love your name! I'd never heard it before and it's just beautiful!

My name was mentioned once too. It was the name of a caller and Roz charaded the name to Frasier because she had a mouth full of peanut butter.
