In the new promo for the third season of "Vampire Diaries", Elena (Nina Dobrev) certainly seems to be enjoying her introduction to adulthood. Her 18th birthday, featured in the season premiere (Thursday, Sept. 15 at 8/7c on the CW), is marked by racy sex scenes, an almost violent love triangle and lots of blood, natch — at least, based on the trailer for the third season.
