Yes. The TV show Alice was based on the movie "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore" starring Ellen Burstyn.

Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore is a good movie. Its a very different kind of movie for Martin Scorsese but he was still the perfect director for it.
