Did Denis Leary Say Too Much About the "Rescue Me" Finale on 'Late Night'? (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes posted Sep 7th 2011 Denis Leary was talking about the emotions behind the final day of shooting for "Rescue Me" on "Late Night" when he may have inadvertently let loose with a hint about the series finale. ***Possible Spoilers Ahead!*** "The final scene that we shot, without giving anything away, is a funeral scene... and I was off-camera that day. We had over 500 real-life NYC firefighters there playing themselves in this church, and it was a funeral scene so it was very emotional. It was our last day of shooting and all of the girls, the actresses, were supposed to be crying and then they all started crying off-camera. I was getting a little trembly-lipped myself. I then walked outside and one of the firefighters tapped me on the shoulder and asked me 'When are we getting the sandwiches?' and I was sobbing 'in a couple of minutes.'" http://www.aoltv.com/2011/09/07/deni...e-night-video/ |
