Well doggies! It sure was fun while it lasted! And it lasted nine hilarious seasons! Nine seasons of misunderstanding city ways. Nine years of Granny's country vittles. Nine years of Elly May's critters. Nine years of Jethro searching for the right career. And nine years of Jed Clampetts simple homespun wisdom. Somehow nine seasons of their heapin hospitality don't seem like enough.

Aww that long already, next year will be the Hillbillies 50th anniversary of their debut. I wish they would release the rest of the seasons on dvd.
