carroll O connor and Jean stapleton are singing to a group of kids-lol Is that because a kid was on the show by that time I wonder?

Even the closing credits had a kiddie tune to it

While neither theme don't remind me of someone singing to kids, the closing theme has a lo-fi sound to it - almost as if the crew figured it was the last season and thought "Let's make the end credit audio sound second-rate!"

The way Jean stapleton is singing makes it sound like it's a kid in front of the piano. Compare the 3rd season opening to the last season and you will see what I mean
