Wilson Phillips to Star in TV Guide Network Reality Pilot
Sept 6, 2011 by TV Guide News TV Guide Network is developing a new reality series starring '90s pop group Wilson Phillips. The potential series, which the network announced Tuesday, will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at Chynna Phillips and Carnie and Wendy Wilson as they stage their comeback. The pilot will premiere later this year. "Wilson Phillips is extremely excited to start a reality show following the reunion of the girls and what it's like 21 years later," Carnie Wilson said. "Between touring, recording a new CD and raising nine children, the show promises love, laughter and head-bumping!" Said Allen Shapiro, chairman of TV Guide Network: "Our original programming is bringing fans closer to their favorite celebrities, and our new show with Wilson Phillips underscores this commitment." The girl group has been back in the spotlight lately. The trio made a cameo in Bridesmaids earlier this summer, while Phillips will compete on "Dancing with the Stars" this season.
