I would have to say Friends had the best season finale. After a year of some good episodes and some not-so-good episodes they ended with possibly their best of the season and made everyone very anxious to find out who the father of the baby is over the summer.

Promised Land I think had the best. So dramatic. The show is no longer in regular syndication, but they will start showing the reruns in Fall on Pax TV.
