OK, I may be in the wrong portion for this, but since Candace Cameron did appear twice on two different "Growing Pains" episodes, I have a confession to make: I WANNA MEET CANDACE CAMERON!

Ever since I was 18 years old, 8 years ago, I've had a HUGE crush on Candace that has INCREASED over the last 8 years to the point of wanting to MEET her.

And now, my friends, I'm going to go meet her--the week of December 5, in celebration of my 27th birthday the following Friday, December 9, against my parental units' advice, I have FINALLY decided to pursue my 8-year dream of meeting her--and here's how the plan will work, if all things go well.

Sunday, December 4, 2011, I intend to leave my hometown of Statesboro, Georgia for 1 week. I will travel 8 hours, most of that day, from there to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where once I arrive, I will stay at my cousin Angie's house that entire week.

After a night's sleep that Sunday, I will have Angie give me a FREE tour of the entire city of Ft. Lauderdale starting that Monday, December 5, over the course of the next 5 days, from the local Burger King to the fanciest restaurant in town.

The intent, over that week, will be to spot Candace in any and/or all public buildings in Ft. Lauderdale; at any given time, I'll nonchalantly walk up to her and say, "Excuse me, I don't mean to be rude, but you're Candace Cameron, right?" She'll probably be with her husband of 15 years, Val Bure, and their 3 kids, at the local Ft. Lauderdale Mall Food Court, look at me funny and think to herself, "Who's this guy?" To which I'll respond, "I'm your biggest fan, but you can call me Danny, as my friends and family do. You don't mind if I have lunch with you and your family, do you?" At which point I'll sit myself down and join her and the family eating whatever lunch they're having with whatever lunch I'm having. When/if my cousin Angie (who's exactly her brother Kirk's age, though slightly older, having turned 42 last May) catches me in the act, I'll introduce her and say, "This is my cousin Angie. She'll be joining us for lunch. Angie, this is my new friend Candace, her husband Val, and their trio of kids, Natasha, Lev, and Maks."

If all things go well, and the conversation ends on a good note after the Lunch, I'll ask her, "Before you and your family go, May I have your autograph, Candace?" To which I'm sure she'll sign.

That Saturday, December 10, I plan on returning to my hometown in Georgia and telling my parental units exactly how the meeting turned out, good or bad, and when THAT happens, I'll tell you folks how it goes.

Pretty cool she is very nice and friendly but are you sure she will even be in Florida on those days let alone the Mall she is supposed to be in Canoga with relatives from the week before Thanksgiving til after Christmas.
