I read that this was also a possible spinoff attempt.
I think it would have been called "It's A Wrap" or "Wrapped" or something to do with the Pita bread in the restaurant. I think it would have taken place at that Greek restaurant, but also at an apartment the two boys who work at the restaurant share. Mr. Pappalardo would have been owner of the apartment building, as he also owns the restaurant. Possibly a waitress or two or three helpers. Each boy would have had a girl they liked, maybe they would have roomed across from them in the apartment building. And other locations in Glenlawn. Of course, a synthesized theme song! Same people who did GAB. NBC really needed another show like this in the late 1980s as it would have outlasted Cosby show, as that went of in 1992. If this show was a success, it would have ended around the same time, or maybe a little later. All they got that fall was Amen, I believe, and ALF. But didn't last 6 seasons or more. If this had, and lasted past Cosby, it would have been a hit. Also, something very strange is why was the father named Mr. Pappalardo? That's Italian, not Greek. It seems in the script, they referenced both the boys in the restaurant were Greek. We didn't see if Mr. Pappalardo had a wife or not or if she died/divorced...but that's an Italian last name, as it ends in an "o", unlike a voewl with an "s" such as (as, os...) If he was named Mr. Pappalardos or Mr. Pappalardas, then that's Greek. Unless the wife was Greek, or he's of Greek nationality with a Greek mother and Italian Father... |

There is one thing about this thread that really puzzles me! When I first came to this page, I saw that this thread had been brought to the top of the page and I was very excited! I was quite curious as to what other great minds had to say in response to the original post. According to what I read at the right, there were two responses to this thread. The only problem is that, now that I have opened it, I see that they are not here! Dose anyone have any idea what the story is?
