Cool Best Cast Additions

Family Matters-Steve Urkel. Urkel made the show wacky and zany, of course they overdid it but that almost always happens with a breakout character.

Wings-Alex, the sexy blonde pilot (farrah forke) and Casey, Helen's hot red-headed sister. I like what both characters brought to the show, but i'd give the edge to Casey. I thought it wasa neat twist to have a female counter to the Hackett brothers.

Cheers-Frasier, Lilith, and Woody. All great additions, never limed Rebecca compared to Diane though.

Night Court-Christine, Mac and Roz. All main characters but not original, this makes the early seasons weird. I've always wondered why that show took so long to get things 'right' that they had to replace so many characters (i know the first two bailiffs died IRL, but Ellen Foley and that other woman. Also, thought Gilbert Gottfried and that stenographer Lissette (recurring in the final season) were nice touches and some new blood.

Curtis Armstrong to Moonlighting. As Herbert Viola junior detective and love interest for Agnes Dipesto. Bobby Cannivale as Will's love interest on Will and Grace. Everyone wanted Will to finally find love. Rex Lee as the irrespresible Lloyd on Entourage. Courteney Cox as Lauren on Family Ties, long before she become Monica, she kissed another Canadian, Michael J Fox.

Cheers - Frsier, Woody, Lillith, Rebecca - well for the lattermost, IMO I liked her better than the character she replaced.

Married with Children - Jefferson D'arcy

The Facts of Life - Jo Polniaczek

Mary Tyler Moore - Sue Ann, Georgette

Saved by the Bell - Slater, Kelly, Jessie

Taxi - Jim

Benson - Clayton, Pete, Denise

For Benson, Clayton Endicott (Rene Auberjonois) brought a more dynamic personality into being Benson's foil than Taylor (Lewis J. Stadlen) ever did in his lone season w/ Benson.

In regards to Christine, Markie Post was not available to do the show when it started. She was wanted for the show but couldn't due to another commitment. However, when the first two seasons were done, she was finally available and was added to the cast and replaced Ellen Foley's character.

Wasn't the other female Karen Austin seen in the 1st 10 episodes of S1?
