do they really exist??? unsolved mysteries did a really good segment on them. I personally feel there is not enough evidence to discount them or even prove they really exist. How about you guys???

Don't know if they exist, but I think the most ridiculous part of the segment was the interview with that figure skater who just saw a strange guy walking down the street in New York and she just had a feeling he wasn't human. I can't believe UM even bothered interviewing her and wasted the celluloid on her dumb story.

I think this could have been a potentially interesting segment, but I have a feeling UM rushed it to get it on the air in time to cash in on the "Men in Black" movie. It definitely comes across as one of UM's most rushed, half-assed segments, which is probably why of their biggest "eyewitnesses" was the aforementioned woman who freaked because she saw a random guy in a black suit in New York City that didn't even interact with her.

Completely agree. I remember watching that segment thinking this woman just wanted to be on tv so she made up some bizarre story.

Agree. A terrible segment on an inane topic. On a semi-related topic - does it seem that with the proliferation of cell phone cameras, the number of "UFO" sightings is going down - since "witnesses" don't have the standard excuse of not having a camera.

This was nothing more than an attempt to cash in on the "Men in Black" movie that was released around the same time.

The original NBC broadcast version of the Men in Black story actually used some scenes from the film. When the segment was syndicated, I think these parts were edited.

Except sightings are up 67% the last 3 years

One of the worst segments and maybe the most dissapointing of them all. The women had the weakest case ever for an UM case.

Yeah. I actually liked the first guy in the segment, but his alleged experience was so brief. Then woman, on the other hand, seemed nice and all- but living and being in a big city reminds me of how many utter strange people you see on the street. I suppose her talk about how she didn't see any hair follicles is what got her on there (a tidbit that would have been more interesting, if say, something more monumental had actually happened!).
