Confused Apparently, Robin Williams Would Like to Do Another Sitcom...Should He?!?

Ashton Kutcher recalled a conversation between That '70s Show dad Kurtwood Smith and Robin Williams in which Williams, the breakout star of Mork & Mindy, confessed to wanting to do a sitcom again.

Kutcher, who focuesed on feature films and production after his Fox sitcom, said Williams' comment stuck with him over the years, "And I never forgot that when I was on That ‘70s Show because I never forgot what we had, and how great and how fun the job was and how incredible it was, and how great it is go to work every day and make people laugh."

Cool

If Robin Williams does do another sitcom it should probably be on cable!

I'm still waiting on a M&M reunion, it wasn't fair that the show got canceled without a final episode that tied up the loose ends.

But Pam Dawber is grandma age by now and Hollywood is really turned off by that!

If Robin does another show you guys know most likely it will bomb.

I think it would be interesting to see Robin Williams return to his sitcom roots. But it probably WOULD have to be on cable since his sense of humor is so raunchy.

Yeah, I loved M and M, but if he ever did another show, they'd have to be careful it didn't become a big political rant, and that Williams, as much as I love him, didn't overshadow everyone else.

That being said, I'd love to see him go back and play an innocent as he did in M and M, Moscow on the Hudson, Jack, etc. He's really good at that; he's got a sweetness about him that doesn't come out in his raunchy live shows.

Hey, if I look HALF as good as Pam Dawber does when I approach 60 (as evidenced by these recent photos), I will be one very happy woman!!! Either she's never had any work done or has the most brilliant plastic surgeon in the world.

I do wonder why she's never popped up on her husband Mark's show NCIS. (In one of these pictures she is seen with another NCIS star, Cote de Pablo.) She dropped out of the limelight to raise their kids, and I think both of them are grown up now. Maybe she's been approached but turned it down - I have no idea. Does anyone know for sure?

Yes, she is gorgeous, and she has a fresh, approachable look that is very rare. I'd LOVE to see her do more TV, but only if it were something that would utilize her well...none of this "oh it's funny to hear the 'old lady' say something raunchy' crap, like they do with most older sitcom stars.

She looks amazing! Don't know why she hasn't been on NCIS but perhaps she feels it would be better for her marriage not to work with her husband. Just my two cents.

I agree - and I think she'd be an awesome choice to play Mrs. Robinson in the stage version of The Graduate.

Pam looks pretty good for an 'old lady'. It would be cool to see her make some kind of a comeback.

As for Robin Williams in a sitcom, why not? He's great in anything he does.
