Here's an esoteric question that I hope someone can answer. In the late '90s, I watched an episode where everyone went to a karaoke bar. There was a non primary character with them, played by an actress I know I've seen before, but can't place. I believe she encouraged Mark or Ira to get on stage, and at the end of their song, she quipped, "Well, at least he didn't suck." I'm sure this was a MAOY episode, but I'm 42, so I don't rule out creeping senility. Any wizards out there?

Although I remember the episode that you are writing about, I do not remember the marginal character that you mentioned or the actress who played her. I will see if I can find that episode and if I can, I will watch it. I will see if I can recognize who you are writing about. In any event, I am responding to this post because I know low lonely it can make you feel if you post a thread and no one replies!

It was one of the three "Finale" episodes at the end of season 4, but it was a relatively minor actress who hasn't been in much.

The first thing that I would like to do is welcome you to this site! I am sure that you will have a lot of fun with it! During its full seven years on prime-time "Mad About You" was my absolute favorite TV show! I am crazy about Helen Hunt! In any event, it is always nice to see new life breathed into this site.
