Lond Posted Aug 19th 2011 Gerard Butler brings us Machine Gun Preacher, in which he plays Sam Childers, a former drug-dealing biker tough guy who found God and became a savior for hundreds of Sudanese children who had been kidnapped and forced to become soldiers during that country's horrific civil wars. The true story unspools at the Toronto International Film Festival and opens in L.A. and N.Y. in late September.
