My grandpa died today after a very painful battle with cancer. I'm so happy he is rid of his diseased body and can be healthy, happy, and peaceful in heaven. Love you grandpa, always forever.

I'm sorry to hear that.
I know how it feels. I lost my great grandpa 21 years go. He died of lung cancer.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I'm doing ok. BTW Family ties, that's exactly what my grandpa died of, lung cancer.

Sorry for your loss. I know it hurts rights now but your Grandpa is in heaven where he is pain free and at peace. That is a beautiful thought.

My deepest condolences to you and your family. I'm sure your positive outlook helps in this time, but it's still very hard to lose someone you love. But as you and other have said, the reunion is coming and it will be wonderful.
