How could I forget a movie with a character named Sanka Coffee (played by Doug E. Doug)! It was the story of the Jamaican Bobsled team preparing to compete in the Olympic games with John Candy playing an american former bobsledder who coaches them. "Thanks Coach!"

What ever happened to the cast of "Cool Runnings"...next to John Candy who's been gone for 17 years now.

Doug E. Doug who played Sanka Coffie was on the TV series "Cosby" from 1996-2000. Since then he has had a number of guest parts on TV shows and appeared in a few movies.

Some people say they can't believe, Jamaica we've got a bobsled team. lol Love that movie. Actually saw it twice in the theatre back in 1993, or 1994, I forget which. We also bought it on tape when it was out of the theatres. For those who don't know, before their were dvd's there were these things called video tapes. lol Anyway, great movie. Very inspiring!

Yep, he also had his own show that I use to watch back in 1993, called Where I Live. Didn't last too long, but I thought it was a good show. It played on TGIF. I know that the big bald scary dude played in the movie Copland with Sylvester Stallone, and Robert Deniro which I saw in the theatre back in 1997. Yes, I snuck in cause I was underage. lol Besides that though, I don't recall seeing him in anything else.

I remember seeing I think the end to this movie once about 10 years ago when it was on TV but never saw the whole thing.
