Cult Film Director David Lynch Drops Details for Debut Album 'Crazy Clown Times'
Full Details For Director David Lynch's Album 'Crazy Clown Times'
August 17, 2011 By: Jonny B. Late last year legendary director David Lynch wanted to compose and release a music album. Originally, the album was supposed to be released in June, but due to situations arising, the release date was pushed. The album will be released on November 8th via Sunday Best Recordings and will be available for purchase at retail outlets in both physical and digital formats, including a Collector’s Edition CD; iTunes exclusive with video; and a double LP set with bonus tracks. Lynch states: "The love of experimenting with sound and music is what’s driving this boat. All of the songs on the album started as a jam. The jams eventually found a form and lyrics appeared." The 14-track album was recorded at Lynch's own Asymmetrical Studio with producer Dean Hurley, who contributed guitar and drum parts to the album. Lynch says that the process had many creative accidents and that, "There were so many accidents; this album should be in the hospital." Track Listing: 01. Pinky’s Dream 02. Good Day Today 03. So Glad 04. Noah’s Ark 05. Football Game 06. I Know 07. Strange and Unproductive Thinking 08. The Night Bell With Lightning 09. Stone’s Gone Up 10. Crazy Clown Time 11. These Are My Friends 12.
