Exclusive: Courteney Cox to Direct an Episode of "Cougar Town"

Courteney Cox is making her TV directing debut this season on "Cougar Town", TVGuide.com has learned.

The star of the ABC comedy will step behind the camera for an upcoming episode from Season 3.

"Cougar Town" is slated to return midseason, when it all air Tuesdays at 9/8c on ABC.

Reports that Courteney Cox will be directing an upcoming episode of ABC’s Cougar Town may be a tad premature. A source close to the situation tells TVLine that while the plan is to get the actress behind the camera in Season 3, “scheduling is everything” and nothing is set in stone. (Case in point: Cox was supposed to direct a C-Town ep last season, but the timing didn’t allow for it.) Translation: When we hear Cox yell “Action!”, we’ll believe it.
