Hello, and a Happy, Healthy New Year, MG Fans!

Well, we are now down to 1 week left of Match Game 77! The sixth New Year's Eve telecast of Match Game (Episode #1128, aired on CBS December 30, 1977, with guests Richard Deacon, Fannie Flagg, Charles Nelson Reilly, Mary Wickes, Richard Dawson and Joyce Bulifant), which will see Match Game 77 transition to Match Game 78, will air Sunday, January 13, @ 6 PM EST/ 5 PM CST on Game Show Network!! It will also be the last NYE MG show wherein we see the big MG sign switch, as well as the only time we see the sign switch at the beginning of the show!! So fire up them VCRs, 'cause it's that time of Match Game year, again!

It's appropriate, of course, what with the current New Year and all. Stayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy tuned!

Thanks for the 411. I was wondering when it was coming, but based on Richard's changing attitude, I figured 1978 wasn't far off.
