So I was trying to figure out if he was still locked up but could not figure out where to search for him. I looked in Nevada and California prisons but found nothing. Details of his sentence were never mentioned. However, I did find that after 20 years Joe Weldon Smith is still on death row in Nevada and with him getting up there in age makes me wonder if he will die before he gets executed

I also looked in Nevada and California DC websites and there is nothing there on him? I cant think of what other state he would be imprisoned?

Per the federal inmate search, it shows a Ronald L Rushton, age 73, who was released on August 12, 1994.

I saw this segment for the first time (I believe it never aired on Lifetime) yesterday, and looked it up on the wiki and couldn't believe that he would still be in prison today (he was sentenced to 110 years). Being released in 1994 makes much more sense.

110 years for fraud seems insane.
