Aunt Martha Continuity Error! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

This is tough to spot blooper!

In "The Visiting Aunts" Beaver and Wally are all upset that they missed the carnival when Aunt Martha and her friend comes to visit. They are hurt and angry and blame June and Ward for making them miss a lot of fun.

In another powerful moment of the series Ward tells them that "As you go through life, sometimes you have to make yourself a little unhappy in order to make other people happy." They apologize for their behavior. Note however, that in this episode, Aunt Martha lives in Riverside.

In the episode "Beaver's Laundry" June talks about how impressed she is that the boys cleaned up the kitchen. Ward thinks something's up and they reminisce about a time when Wally went to visit Aunt Martha and wound up on the wrong bus in Riverside! So Martha either moved, or the writers messed up by not naming a different city!
