Megadeth Announce Release Date For 'TH1RT3EN'

Megadeth have made it official: 'TH1RT3EN', their 13th studio album, will be released on Nov. 1st!

The new album features 13 blistering tracks from the thrash metal legends and will be the first album with bassist David Ellefson recorded since 2002's 'Rude Awakening'.

Dave Mustaine says :

"This record is the culmination of my work over the 13 records I recorded. There are moments on 'TH1RT3EN' that capture my every emotion, and other moments where I am releasing feelings I never knew existed! My proudest moments of my musical career are captured on 'TH1RT3EN'."

Dave Mustaine Wants To Start Supergroup With Metallica's Hetfield And Ulrich

Dave Mustaine was recently interviewed on the Texas radio station 97.1 The Eagle Rocks during the Rockstar Mayhem Festival circuit. On there, he admitted to some rather interesting news.

News that might send metalheads into a frenzy.

Apparently, Mustaine approached Metallica's James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich and brought up the possibility of a supergroup. The band would be rounded out by Megadeth bassist David Ellefson.

Hetfield apparently said no, but Mustaine has said, "...but it's still kind of out there in the air. I'm gonna keep hammering on him. It's on my bucket list."
