Confused Am I missing something here, or was Layla Pollis found alive?

So I recently googled Layla Pollis. I recently watched the segment on her mother and I remembered that she had been missing for quite some time. I remembered seeing her picture on the Charley Project and other missing persons websites. However, when I typed her name in on google, I saw that one of the search suggestions was Layla Pollis Found, and according to some sites, she was found alive and well. Has anyone else seen this?

Was Layla ever missing? And, if so, was there ever any suggestion her disappearance was connected to that of her mother's? Was it ever profiled on UM? My recollection is that only Charlotte Pollis' disappearance was ever profiled on the show, and there was no mention that anyone else went missing when she did.

Actually, who is "Layla" Pollis?

Ya she's alive and well. If you google Layla Nagi(her mom's maiden name) you find her FB page. By using her mom's maiden name you see more disdain for Paul Pollis

To answer your question, Layla's disappearance was never profiled on the show. Layla Pollis was Charlotte's daughter. She went missing along with her grandmother a few years after the segment on the show. People learned of this by researching Charlotte Pollis.

A couple interesting posts in this thread from someone called "BlueAngels Rock" who claims that Layla Nagi and her grandmother weren't actually "missing" per se, but spent a few years in protective custody. Don't know how true this is, but the poster seemed to have some inside knowledge about the situation.

Why would the feel the need to be in "protective custody"? Doesn't Paul's son still live with him? If so, they obviously don't have any qualms about the son staying with Paul.

Yes I never understood why the son wasn't 'kidnapped' as well.

Yeah, I know, it makes about as much sense as the Maples taking Christi and Bobby Baskin away from their "abusive" parents while leaving the other child, Michael, behind with them.

However, BlueAngelsRock seems to imply that the son was staying with Paul's parents at the time the Nagis took off with Layla and they simply couldn't get him away from them before they left.

Yes that sounds logical. Also I believe according to the reenactment the son was younger than Layla. Maybe he doesn't have the disdain for his dad that she did. She seemed to be the one that (if you believe the grandmother) who freaked out when she saw dark trash bags and said mommy was put in one. Sadly the son was so young he may not remember his mother.

Hmm just searching on FB and I'm thinking the boy's name might be Aden. He's on Layla's friend list.

I wonder if that whole garbage thing was true or if she was actually coached? I also wonder if someone were to ask her today, would she still have the memory of those garbage bags if it were in fact true?
