Nicollette Sheridan Says She Won't Return to "Desperate Housewives" for Final Season (VIDEO)

"Desperate Housewives" is going to take its "victory lap" for an eighth and final season, but it will apparently do so without one if its longtime stars.

Despite a story in the Hollywood Reporter in which creator Marc Cherry said the character Edie could return to the show, Nicollette Sheridan said on "Today" that isn't likely to happen.

They just announced that this is the last season of "Desperate Housewives" and I saw in the paper today that they're hoping that you would come back for it.

Well, that's news to me...

If asked by Marc Cherry and the producers would you come back?

I had an amazing time playing Edie, but they killed her - she's dead.

So in other words I guess she said 'no' everyone.

Why in the world would they ask her that? Its common knowledge whats going on with her and Marc Cherry!!!
