Hello my fellow UM fans! I need some help with an episode. This is a "Lost Love" segment. It was about a father looking for his daughter. If I remember correctly, the UM segment said he did go back to see her when she was a baby but he walked out of her life and never came back until he started looking for her. They were reunited but the daughter still seemed bitter about him leaving her as a child. Anyone remember this episode??

Mac Macdonald, I believe was the father's name. Both the daughter and the mother were really bitter, however, the daughter did seem to want to get to know her father to an extent. Definitely not the happiest reunion, but I think there was a little hope that at least the daughter would open up to him. It's been years since I've seen it, though.

was this the one where the father had created quite an estate and wanted to find out who his child was so when he died he could leave the child the money?

I think so. I would like to know how things worked out for them. He seemed sincere.

Yep thats the one.. I found it on (site unmentioned). It was WB Mac McDonald. He seemed really sincere and I really dont blame him for leaving since his mother in law wasnt really making things easier on him and just made the tough situation worse. I guess he just freaked out.. |
