I like any high-quality detergent; always liquid. I prefer Tide and Wisk. I wouldn't use cheap detergent if they gave it to me. I also use Downy liquid fabric softener. It makes our clothes so soft.

Since we got a new front loading washer it takes HE type liquid detergent. I will buy whatever is cheapest. You should see the washer on spin cycle as it looks like it is powered and ready to fly to the moon

Tide is good, but it's so expensive.

What does HE stand for?

I am not sure what HE stands for but it is what is needed for the new washers. I buy my detergent at the dollar store--which is more than a dollar LOL!!!!

I just use store brands.

They work just as well.

^I use name brands because I have tried store brands and x brands before and I don't feel they work as well. I tried an x brand detergent called XCEL and it irritated my skin.

Arm & Hammer unscented. I wear the same kind of deodorant as well. Can't use the scented kind, cause it burns my skin. Both scented detergent, and scented deodorant burn my skin.
