Everyone's Age?? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Everyone elses ages can be figured out if you try hard enough...but does anyone know if Fonzie's age was ever mentioned in the show? I would assume he's not THAT much older than Richie...maybe 3 years or so...but I was wondering if anyone knew if it was ever mentioned on the show. If I remember correctly, Richie, Potise and Ralph were 18 in the 4th season, and Joanie and Chachi were 18 in Joanie Loves Chachi, so technically that would be the 10th season I think, so that means Richie and Joanie are 6 years apart. But I'm just curious as to where Fonzie fits into this whole thing. Any ideas??

It has always been said that Fonzie's charachter was to portray a 19 year old, in many books and specials. Thereforre Fonzie was 19 when the show first Premired in 1974, although Henry Winkler was actually 28 in real life. This would mean at the time Happy Days went off the air, Fonzie's Charachter was probably about 30 years old on the show.
