Amy Winehouse and Tony Bennett Duet to Be Released for Charity

Amy Winehouse and Tony Bennett's 'Body and Soul' duet will be released as a charity single benefiting a foundation being set up in her name.

Winehouse and Bennett recorded the track earlier this year for his upcoming 'Duets II' album, which was the last record the singer made before her July 23 death.

"We're putting the song out ahead of the album [due out Sept. 20] and it's going to a foundation that her father started to teach all the young children not to take drugs, and all the royalties of the record will go to that," Bennett said on the "Today" show, adding that Winehouse "sang beautifully."

Winehouse's father, Mitch, announced at her funeral last week that he plans to start the Amy Winehouse Foundation to help those struggling with addiction. The foundation will also benefit children and horses — two of Winehouse's passions.

Amy Winehouse's final music video was released Wednesday, on what would have been her 28th birthday.

Proceeds from 'Body and Soul', a duet with Tony Bennett, will benefit her Amy Winehouse Foundation, which her dad Mitch says will "support charitable activities in both the UK and abroad that provide help, support or care for young people, especially those who are in need by reason of ill health, disability, financial disadvantage or addiction."

Winehouse is in good spirits in the clip, which was taped at London's Abbey Road Studios in March.
She was found dead in her London home last July.

Of their collaboration, Winehouse says, "Our singing together just blended perfectly. It couldn't have been better."
