The Wacker case will never be solved. Bill passed away in 1999 and Dorothy in 2010.

Yes, there are lots of people on this forum who are relatives of people featured on UM. you just have to fish around and you'll find them. As for Unsolved Mysteries finding their cases, a lot of people called the show or wrote to it with case suggestions. Other stories were found via word of mouth. A lot of the filming locations were public places. One UM segment was filmed in Charleston, SC and my school campus (College of Charleston) was visible in the shots.

Its hard to recall everyone but some people profiled and many relatives of those profiled have posted on here. Paul Pollis has posted once or twice, Charlotte Pollis' brother has, the victim in the Danny Pinietta rape case, "Janie" who was stabbed in the NH serial killer case has posted several times. Also Doyle Wheeler, Mary Morris' co-worker and some of her family, Lisa Kimmell's mother is a semi-regular poster, Jeremy Bright's mother and sister, investigator interviewed in the Bonnie Wilder segment, Charles Horvath's mother, Rohrey Wychgel and I'm sure many more.

As far as where they got the cases they profiled. I'm sure law enforcement was a big resource. They would contact UM about cases they needed leads on and ask them to profile them. I'm also sure that family members of missing or murdered loved ones would contact them asking them to profile their cases.

I wonder if it's really them. It might be some weirdo pretending to be them. I know Dale Kersetter's daughter also posted on here. I think her name was Penny

Go to this thread and check out the posts from a poster named "joshmoe" who alternates between claiming he is a "friend" of Paul and admitting he is Paul himself! It's hard to really tell since he writes a lot of incoherent drivel.

That said, I'd really love to see "joshmoe" make a return to this board and give his thoughts on the recent thread that casts doubt on Paul Pollis' guilt.
